Air Canada

1. The law firm of  Strosberg Wingfield Sasso LLP is counsel in a proposed class action against ACE Aviation Holdings Inc. and Air Canada.

2. The claim is on behalf of all persons who paid a U.S. Flight Segment Tax (equal to a charge of $3.50 per person per flight segment) and/or a U.S. Transportation Tax (equal to 7.5% of the ticket price plus all surcharges) to the defendants on the purchase of airline tickets for flights departing and landing entirely within Canada during the Class Period or such other definition as approved by the court (the Class Members).

3. The plaintiff alleges that the defendants unlawfully charged fees and/or taxes on flights originating and landing exclusively within Canada.
